The 2nd Global Waste Management Conference organized by PHINLA in Colombo was recently held in Colombo by the unity of three countries namely Philippines, Indonesia and Sri Lanka.

For this occasion, a group of representatives including Mr. Meril Perera, Chairman of the Western Provincial Waste Management Authority and Honorary Chairman of the Sri Lankan National Committee of the Global PHINLA Project, joined representing Sri Lanka.

In addition to this conference, the group also joined for a field trip to the Karadiana Mihisaru Field Research and Training Center belonging to the Western Province Waste Management Authority.
